Design Guidelines

This is a great place to start, before ordering your TEAM Bling Jewelry custom necklace. We have a few pointers for you to keep in mind during the design process, which will help you to get the best possible results.

Check out our Pendant Designs and Fundraising Partners pages. There are lots of design ideas and samples of the finished product, so you can get a good idea of what is available.

Keep in mind the size of pendant you are going to order while deciding what design features you want.

We offer the option of Standard Bling or Lots of Bling when ordering your TEAM Bling Jewelry custom necklace.  Standard Bling consists of iridescent glitter and several clear Swarovski crystals scattered across the surface. On bordered designs, we usually keep the Bling in the borders.  Lots of Bling consists of iridescent glitter and Swarovski crystals that encircle the border of the pendant. If you choose not to have Bling at all, please note that in the Custom Pendant Design box on the order form

Small pendants have a very limited design surface (approx. 1”x1”). Most of our pendant designs will fit in a small pendant, although the 1 color border designs work best. You will want your pendant to be easily readable so we suggest that you move up to a medium-sized pendant if you want an elaborate logo, or name longer than 9 letters reproduced. We also suggest that you order Standard Bling  with your small-sized pendant as Lots of Bling will sometimes obscure too much of your pendant design  Click here to order

Medium pendants will accommodate a bit more than the small pendant.  Larger logos work well on this size pendant, as well as names with jersey numbers or team names with a team logo. Lots of Bling works well on the medium- sized pendants.  Click here to order

Dog Tags follow the same guidelines as the small pendant, as the design surface on the dog tag is roughly the same.  Click here to order
